The Bachelor of Arts, Major in Sociology provides students with critical, practical, and transformative studies that aim to prepare them for life and work in a diverse and globalized world. In their final years of the program, students hone their research skills by taking courses with a primary research component. They may also take a service-learning course, in which they gain practical experience by volunteering for their chosen organization within the community.
